This photo was taken on a perfectly clear and crisp December day. San Francisco de Asis Church is a small mission in Rancho de Taos. The renowned painter, Georgia O’Keeffe, described the mission as, “one of the most beautiful buildings left in the United States by the early Spaniards,”…and I have to agree.
