The Bavarian Restaurant is located at the base of Kachina Peak. Leave your skis in the snow and drop in for a quick bite and brew between ski runs.

Taos Pueblo…you need to see it for yourself. You will have to pay a camera fee to take pictures, but it’s worth it. If you are in Taos during the holidays, consider visiting the pueblo on Christmas Eve for the procession. Here is a great blog post detailing the festivities.

El Santuario de Chimayo is located outside of Taos and has been called, “the most important Catholic pilgrimage center in the United States.” This picture was taken on the grounds.

The Santuario de Chimayo…take the scenic High Road from Taos. I believe it takes about an hour and half and it’s worth every minute.
